Overview

A premium brand, told through motion.

Vonzy Beauty is a long-form, single-page landing site for a natural cosmetics brand. The focus was not functional complexity but a refined visual identity and a smooth, animation-driven experience that communicates quality.

It is written in plain HTML, CSS and JavaScript, without a framework, to keep full control over rendering, animation sequencing and interaction timing.

Motion

Explicit GSAP timelines, synchronized with scroll.

The page is built from independent sections (hero, product showcase, storytelling and FAQ), each styled and animated on its own. GSAP is the animation engine, ScrollTrigger ties timelines to the scroll position, and Lenis provides the smooth scrolling.

Timelines are defined explicitly and orchestrated centrally, so the animations behave the same at every viewport size.

Challenges

  • Coordinating animations

Many scroll- and timeline-driven animations needed strict sequencing without a framework, solved with GSAP timelines and central orchestration.

  • Performance with heavy effects

Parallax and high-fidelity animation stay smooth through optimized triggers and fewer repaints. Above-the-fold content renders first, and secondary animations start lazily.

  • State without abstractions

Interactive parts such as the FAQ use explicit, event-driven state handling to avoid inconsistent UI states.
